E. Silva, owner of this highly modified 1955 Chevrolet Corvette, popped the hood of the car to show the 409 cubic inch Chevrolet engine that he swapped into the first generation Corvette. He put in two Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetors on the stock 409 intake manifold, adding an MSD ignition system, converting to power disc brakes in the front suspension. He modified the steering system and also modified the car's roof.
