Police identify woman killed in Koloa Road crash
Kauai police identified the 65-year-old woman who died in a single-car crash on Kauai Monday as Marcia Bjornstad of Kalaheo.
Police said Bjornstad was traveling north on Koloa Road in Lawai at about 6 p.m. when her Honda sedan crossed the center line and struck a fence along the southbound shoulder of the roadway.
The vehicle flipped onto its roof before crashing into a building.
Police said Bjornstad died at the scene. She was the lone occupant in the sedan.
