Woman in serious condition after two-vehicle crash on Keeaumoku Street
An 80-year-old woman is injured after a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning, according to a Emergency Medical Services report.
The crash happened at 10:18 a.m. at Keeaumoku Street and Young Street.
She was transported to the hospital in serious condition.

Seat belt on? Now that she has lost her car she should learn to use a smart phone and call Lyft or Uber. Hey, DOT. Approve Thai motorcycle taxis and Filipino tricycles and jeepneys.

I happened across another another accident at the corner of Young and Pensacola around the same time. There just seems to be an increase in the number of collisions, some ending up in fatalities. In my opinion, I believe that a crack down on speeding, inattentive driving, failure to come to complete stop and running red lights. Running red lights seems to be all too common…speeding up and thru a red light figuring that the slight signal delay is enough. Most recent was going makai on Kapahulu this morning and nearing Winam Avenue…light turns yellow…moped revving up to across Kapahulu from Winam…I slow down and stop…light turns red… and truck alongside me speeds up. I honk horn to warn everyone…mopeds stops and truck goes right thru…could have been bad. This is the kind of stuff that has got to stop with ticketing…getting out of hand. Is anyone listening?
