The Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the 11-month-old boy who died this morning as Russell Westbrook-Filo of Waianae.

The infant was taken to a Waianae hospital after Emergency Medical Services was called at 3:30 a.m. with a report that an 11-month-old boy who was not breathing.

Paramedics treated the baby and transported him to the hospital in critical condition, where he died.

Police has classified the case as an unattended death, pending the outcome on an autopsy to determine cause of death.
