High surf advisory extended for all islands
Weather officials extended a high surf advisory for the south shores of all islands this morning as a south swell continues to deliver big waves.
Surf up to 5 to 8 feet is expected to hit south shores through this evening, according to officials at the National Weather Service. The high surf advisory is in effect through 6 p.m.
“Expect strong breaking waves, shore break and strong currents,” weather officials said.
