Bobby Lee, above, was sworn in to the Hawaii State Boxing Commission the day of the meeting with Muhammad Ali and his promoters. Lee felt Ali was deteriorating and people just wanted to use him to make money. At right, a copy of Ali’s physical exam report on Jan. 7, 1981, signed by Hawaii State Boxing Commission Dr. Richard You, who recommended that Ali be granted a license. Ali weighed 240 pounds.
