Police: Masked gunmen robbed 66-year-old man in Hilo park
Hawaii County police are searching for two masked gunmen who robbed a 66-year-old man at a Hilo park.
Police said the suspects brandished firearms, demanded money at forced the victim, a Hilo man, into the restroom at Lokahi Park at about 3 p.m. Monday.
The suspects fled after taking an undisclosed amount of money.
Although both suspects wore wearing masks, the victim said they spoke with heavy accents.
One is described as being between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 135 pounds and was wearing a black shirt, black pants and black shoes.
The second suspect was described as being between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 200 pounds and was wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt.
