George Gusman, the baseball coach at Saint Louis, and Jon Viela, the athletic director at Kamehameha-Maui, will speak at the Honolulu Quarterback Club on Monday.
Gusman has been the head baseball coach for the Crusaders for the past seven years after 18 years at Kamehameha. He has won two ILH titles and a state championship in his coaching career. He was also an OIA football official for 14 years and a college football official for 26 years.
Viela will take over as AD at Kamehameha-Maui on June 1. A graduate of Baldwin High, Viela played baseball for the University of Hawaii before returning to Baldwin as a football and baseball coach. This year, he led the Bears to an 18-0 record and Baldwin’s first state title in 21 years.
