Clinton calls Trump’s gun policies “dangerous”
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. >> Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton says Donald Trump’s gun policies are “not just way out there” but “dangerous” and would make America less safe.
Clinton said: “This is someone running to be president of the United States of America — a country facing a gun violence epidemic — and he’s talking about more guns in our schools, he’s talking about more hatred and division in our streets.”
She delivered her remarks Saturday night in Fort Lauderdale at a conference organized by the Trayvon Martin Foundation to help mothers who have lost children or family members to senseless gun violence.
It was led by Sybrina Fulton, whose 17-year-old son, Trayvon Martin, was fatally shot by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in 2012. She has campaigned with Clinton.

The criminals and terrorists have all the guns they need. Some have arsenals. Citizens have the right to bear arms.
It’s in the Constitution, the same Constitution the POTUS takes an oath to uphold.
All her statements are emotional… no facts anywhere.
Woman think emotional, men think factual.
liberals think emotional…
her security detail need not be armed then…see how it feels to be a regular citizen with no protection ….
Trayvon Martin was a 17 year old 6′ 2″ thug. The picture we see on the news was when he was 12 years old.
Zimmerman got himself into a kill or be killed situation.
Are you crazy?
It was Zimmerman that was looking for trouble: a self-declared neighborhood watchman; thinking he is hotshi+ w/a gun. It ended tragically; an innocent kid was killed.
Now, he wants to sell that gun. He has not generating any income because nobody wants to hire his tarnished @ss.
George Zimmerman is bad news.
George Zimmerman may never be compared to a choir boy or be in contention for the Nobel Peace Prize, but people need to accept that he was acquitted of Trayvon Martin’s death by a jury of his peers. It was the jury that decided Zimmerman’s claim of self-defense could not be contradicted by witness statements and the physical evidence, hence there was reasonable doubt that he murdered Trayvon Martin.
As for Zimmerman’s desire to make a pile of money from the sale of his gun (a gun that was rightfully returned to him after his acquittal), as I’ve written elsewhere, we can discuss whether the sale of it to a museum or private collector is in good taste or not, but there should be no question about Zimmerman’s right to legally dispose of his private property as he sees fit.
shawn, Zimmerman was “elected” by the home owners association to head the patrol of their community. The community had a ton of breaking before Trayvon was killed, after he was killed there was a whole lot less.
The “innocent kid,” you describe was kicked out of school because his backpack turned up at least 12 pcs of ladies jewelry, and a man’s watch and a flat head screwdriver described as “a burglary tool”.
When Trayvon was questioned about who owned the jewelry and where it came from, he claimed he was just holding it for a “friend”. A “friend” he would not name.
You want this cute kid living next to you?
hiliar’s promotion of bill’s enhanced sentencing for “super predators” should endear her to gruber voters.
Hillary Clinton says Donald Trump’s gun policies are “not just way out there” but “dangerous” and would make America less safe. Hmmm, if I remember there was something called the 2nd Amendment that allows for such. It seems to me that HC is clearly stating the Constitution of the United States is “just way out there” also then. Should we really have someone whom finds our own constitution “way out there” be our president. At least Trump loves America.
