St. Leo, which won two of the three doubles matches, finishes the year 27-2 with both losses coming to HPU.

Third-ranked Armstrong State defeated top-ranked BYU-Hawaii 5-3 to win the women’s championship. BYUH led 2-1 after the doubles matches before Armstrong (32-1) rallied to win four singles matches to capture the title. Diana Stomlega defeated BYUH’s Jeong-Min Jeon 1-6, 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5 singles for Armstrong’s 10th national title.
