Wow, what breaking news! Thank you SA for keeping me informed of these important events.
Are burglaries now considered a common occurrence on Oahu and we should just accept it without reporting it?
It would be more valuable if the SA used this as an opportunity to suggest to people how to avoid this from happening because it does happen all the time. It was an article with no real substance behind it.
Try to imagine the hundred-odd ways in which this story could have been written and presented and then pick one that you think the same people wouldn’t complain about. You’d be wrong.
3 homes in Waianae, next to each other burged. No press?
…and that’s why you make friends with your neighbors so everyone keeps an eye on each other…
or buy a camera system from Costco?
In some areas, your neighbors may be the ones you cannot trust.
Certainly true nd I hate to say it but probably teenagers.
Somebody in the neighborhood knew you were going to be on vacation. Its someone that you thought was your friend.
True dat. They probably announced it on social media.
Why is this news? Burglaries happen every day on Oahu. Two happened in my neighborhood on the same day two weeks ago.
It’s in the “Top News” section so it must be newsworthy. I can only conclude anything qualifies for news according to the journalists at the SA.
Journalists? At the SA? C’mon man.
Good one!
true..lot of meth-heads out there
Ahhhh…..the unbridled Spirit of Aloha!
