Wacoal will present a Fit for the Cure event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Macy’s Ala Moana. For every woman who gets a free bra fitting from a Wacoal fit specialist, the company will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for breast cancer research and community health programs. Wacoal will donate an additional $2 for every Wacoal bra, shapewear piece or b.tempt’d bra purchased at the event.
Wacoal is also continuing its #IGotFit social media campaign. For each woman who photographs herself with a special “I Got Fit” sign following the fitting and shares on social media using #IGotFit, Wacoal will donate another $1 to Susan G. Komen.
For 16 years Wacoal has dedicated its efforts to educating more than 760,000 women across the United States and Canada about the importance of bra fitting and breast health. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in American women ages 40 to 59 and accounts for nearly 1 in 3 cancers diagnosed in the U.S.
