The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office on Monday identified the man who died in a two-vehicle crash Friday on Kunia Road as Ladarius T. Mcinnis, 26, of Schofield Barracks. Mcinnis died of multiple blunt force injuries, the office said.

Police said Mcinnis crossed the centerline while driving a BMW and collided with an oncoming utility truck about 10:45 a.m. Friday.

The truck driver, a 50-year-old Waipahu man, was taken in serious condition to the hospital. Mcinnis died at the scene.

Why doesn’t the SA name businesses when news incidents take place. The story about the Kapahulu incident is the second story in a week that the name of the restaurant where the incident occurred was hidden. What’s the reason for your reticence? The SA is always so big on the public’s right to know.
