Hau Tree Lanai makes list of best brunch spots in America

Hau Tree Lanai at the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel in Waikiki received its placement on the list based on ratings submitted by more than 5 million verified OpenTable users, for some 20,000 restaurants, in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The annual OpenTable.com list of its 100 Best Brunch Restaurants in America includes only one from Hawaii.

Hau Tree Lanai at the New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel in Waikiki received its placement on the list based on ratings submitted by more than 5 million verified OpenTable users, for some 20,000 restaurants, in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

New York state has 26 restaurants on the list, followed by California, with 16, Maryland with nine, and Illinois with six.

Hawaii’s previous brunch-listers have included Australia-based Bill’s Sydney in Waikiki, Naupaka Terrace at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa in Kapolei, and Plumeria Beach House at the Kahala Hotel & Resort, which has been on the list at least twice before.

    Haven’t eaten there for at least 15 yr. I’d always take my visitors there. The food was excellent then !!!!

    Haleiwa Joe’s at Haiku Gardens is ONO, but don’t go there because it’s always crowded and I don’t want to have to wait any longer to get inside!
