Runners and walkers can dress up as their favorite hero and take part in the second annual Kroc Hero Run on April 30.
Participants can choose from a 5K, 10K and a fun run. A keiki run also will be held.
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Salvation Army Kroc Center Hawaii’s scholarship fund for youth programs in art, music, athletics, fitness and aquatics.
The run begins at 7 a.m. at the center, 91-3257 Kualakai Parkway (formerly North-South Road) in West Oahu. The keiki run starts at 9 a.m. Medals will be awarded for the top age group finishers as well as to all keiki participants.
Registration is being handled online at KrocCenterHawaii.org. Food, prizes and entertainment will follow the event.
