Oahu Publications Inc., publisher of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, has rolled out an online auto marketplace geared toward Hawaii residents.
The new website, HawaiiCars.com, provides sellers with a place to post vehicle listings for free. Shoppers can browse and compare pre-owned listings from private party sellers as well as new and used vehicle inventories from local dealerships. The website also allows users to build a new car to their specifications directly from dealerships in Hawaii.
“HawaiiCars.com is poised to become Hawaii’s No. 1 online resource for selling and buying a car or truck,” Oahu Publications President Dennis Francis said. “The ability of HawaiiCars.com to directly connect Hawaii vehicle sellers to buyers is extremely powerful. The added capability to research and learn about vehicles and comparison-shop various vehicle makes and models on the same website will help Hawaii residents save time as they sell or search for the vehicle that is right for them or their family.”
Oahu Publications also is the parent company of MidWeek, The Garden Island newspaper on Kauai, the Hawaii Tribune-Herald and West Hawaii Today newspapers on the Big Island, USA Today Hawaii Edition and travel website Hawaii.com.
