The University of Hawaii women’s golf team is tied for sixth after the first two rounds of the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational played Tuesday at Kaneohe Klipper Golf Course.
The Rainbow Wahine are at 26-over-par 602. Oklahoma leads the 16-team tournament at 569, while Pepperdine and Texas A&M are tied for second at 576.
Oklahoma State’s Maddie McCrary leads at 5-under 139 and Hira Naveed of Pepperdine is second at 140.
Hawaii’s top golfer is Isabella Leung, who is tied for 11th at 145.
Hawaii Hilo is last at 668. The Vulcans’ top golfer is Andi Igawa, who is tied for 77th at 162.
HPU baseball falls to No. 10 Cal Baptist
The Hawaii Pacific baseball team lost to No. 10 Cal Baptist 4-1 on Tuesday at Hans L’Orange Park.
Jake Gallaway had a two-run double in the Lancers’ four-run sixth and Tyson Miller allowed one run over seven innings with seven strikeouts.
Reid Akau had two hits for the Sharks.
Cal Baptist improved to 22-5, 12-1 PacWest, while HPU fell to 15-8, 7-6.

Nick Bonniksen allowed one run over seven innings for the Oaks (23-10).
Jon Nelson batted 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs and Reed Kienle homered and had three RBIs for Menlo.

Hawaii Hilo will play eight more road games over the next seven days.
