The University of Hawaii baseball coaching staff will conduct summer camps next month at Les Murakami Stadium.
Two-day specialized camps, each focusing on one of four areas of the game, will be held July 6-7 and 20-21. For July 6-7 camps, pitching or catching sessions are 9 a.m. to noon, and hitting is 1-4 p.m. On July 20-21, the hitting camp is 9 a.m. to noon and the infielder camp is 1-3 p.m. The cost of each two-day camp is $100 per player.
For the second straight year, the Rainbow Warriors will also offer a three-day camp designed to cover all aspects of the game. The July 15-17 camp is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day and costs $300.
Camps are open to players of all skill levels, ages 7-18. In addition to coach Mike Trapasso and staff, UH players and local high school coaches will assist.

James, Robinson to speak at QB Club
University of Hawaii track and field coach Carmyn James and former UH basketball player Geremy Robinson, owner of Open Court Basketball, will be the featured guest speakers at the Honolulu Quarterback Club luncheon Monday at the Maple Garden restaurant.
Also speaking at the luncheon will be two recent inductees into the Hawaii High School Hall of Honor — ‘Iolani’s Alex Masaquel and Punahou’s Carly Kan.
Lunch is at 11:30 a.m., with the program starting at noon. The luncheon cost is $15.
