Aiea High School temporarily locked its front gates today as a precaution after rumors spread on campus about a possible fight.

School officials closed the gates from 12:20 p.m. to 1 p.m. today, according to Aiea-Moanalua-Radford Complex Area Superintendent John Erickson.

Erickson noted there was no lockdown on campus and no disruption to classes.

“It was just precautionary. Nothing happened which is good,” he said.

The rumors followed a large fight after school on Thursday at a nearby park.

At about 3 p.m. Thursday, police said 30 officers responded to the fight at Makalapa Park in Aiea. Close to 100 people gathered at the park, police said.

There were no arrests.

Shayne Enright, spokeswoman of the Honolulu Emergency Services Department, said paramedics took two males, ages 16 and 21, to a hospital Thursday after the fight. One male was in serious condition and the other in stable condition.

Notice that no fights occur until Middle School or High School and the high majority of fights involve the species with Testosterone. In other words, two Moose getting it on, two Bulls fighting, two Chickens fighting, two Kings of the Jungle fighting (Lions) and last and not the bit least, two males of The species called The Human Being. The center of attention of course, is the female of the species. Mister Spock (may he RIP, as of 2015), lots of times wisely stated in Star Trek, that the concept of Male and Female is a universal concept. And oh my gosh, now in Aiea High School? Lol I guess some of the Samoans from Kalihi moved over to Aiea, unless some other group had a reason to make a scene. Aiea is mostly famous for Aiea Bowl, not a fight.

Who’s fighting?? Was it a racist one? I remember in highschool, the filipinos would fight against the football players. And who said there is no Racism here in Hawaii. THERE IS! #Kaaihue4Mayor #TakeBackHawaii Ige, America’s Greatest Embarassment.

Why can’t the parents of the kids busted for fighting be named and shamed? After all they do need to take some responsibility for improper parenting…
