Fire investigators seek cause of Kalihi apartment fire

HFD responded to a fire at a two-bedroom walk-up apartment at 3:15 pm on Thursday afternoon. The fire was extinguished by 3:30 with no injuries reported. The walk-up is located at 2010 Waterhouse St. In Kalihi.
Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that caused $25,000 in damage to a single-bedroom home in a two-story apartment building in Kalihi Thursday afternoon.
No was injured in the fire at 2010 Waterhouse St. that was reported at 3:12 p.m.
The fire was brought under control at 3:20 p.m. and fully extinguished by 3:30 p.m.
One man was in the building, but escaped without injuries.
