Rainbow Warrior volleyball falls to BYU
Sophomore opposite Ben Patch put down 22 kills and No. 2 Brigham Young handed No. 7 Hawaii its fourth consecutive Mountain Pacific Sports Federation volleyball loss, sweeping the Warriors, 25-20, 25-20, 25-23 tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.
It was the 11th straight victory for the Cougars (15-2, 11-2 MPSF) who have not dropped a set in any of those wins.
Senior hitter Siki Zarkovic had 12 kills for the Warriors (10-8, 5-8), losing their fourth straight and seventh of eight.
BYU outblocked Hawaii 14-6.5.
The teams meet again Friday at 7 p.m.
