>> The teenage boy who died Monday after being critically injured in Thursday’s helicopter crash in Pearl Harbor was 16 years old. A Page A1 story and Page B2 correction Saturday and a Page B2 story Sunday said he was 15, based on information from a Pali Momi spokeswoman. On Monday hospital officials said the boy’s age was actually 16.
>> Dr. Walton Shim is a former president of the Hawaii Medical Association (HMA), not HMSA, as was stated in biographical information accompanying his “Island Voices” commentary on Page A9 Monday.
>> The entrance to the H-1 freeway westbound onramp is from Moanalua Road, not Moanalua Freeway as was reported in a Page B3 story Saturday. Also, a map accompanying the story mislabeled Moanalua Road as Kamehameha Highway.
>> The University of Hawaii at Hilo men’s basketball team beat Hawaii Pacific University, 87-84, Saturday. A Page C10 headline Sunday said HPU won.
