Police reopen all lanes of westbound H-1 in Kalihi after accident

Cars were backed up on the H-1 westbound near the Ward overpass today after an accident forced the closure of three lanes of the freeway.

Police have reopened all lanes of the H-1 freeway westbound near the Houghtailing offramp following a motor vehicle accident.

Three lanes had been closed around 12:18 p.m.

There were no immediate reports of serious injuries.

    I seen this accident at ground zero as I was going East on the H-1. HPD, HFD and ambulance were at the scene. Good it has 4 lanes now, so one lane could be used as a spillway to relieve some of the huge pressure on this artificial dam.
