Kailua water main break leaves some without service
All lanes of Kainui Drive in Kailua have been temporarily reopened following a water main break this morning. However, the mauka-bound lane between Maluniu Avenue and Oneawa Street will be closed once repairs begin.
The break occurred at the intersection of Maluniu Avenue around 4:50 a.m. and left 19 customers without water service, according to the Board of Water Supply. A water wagon has been dispatched to the area.
Police advised motorists in the area to take Maluniu Avenue to get to Oneawa Street.
There was no immediate estimate as to when repairs to the water main would be completed.

NO NEED INFRASTRUCTURE–We gonna have DA RAIL…
Hawaii wants to know if Thomas the Caboose will be part of the rail?
My puppies need me to provide them with fresh water every day.
Water. Something that we take for granted until it is not there.
