Man charged with car theft after chase in Kunia
Authorities Monday charged a 32-year-old homeless man who tried to evade police after he was stopped in Kunia driving a stolen car.
Pekelo Sanchez was charged with car theft after a manhunt Sunday. His bail was set at $35,000.
Officers pulled Sanchez over at 10 a.m. at the Kunia Walmart because of several traffic violations.
However, the suspect fled, but crashed the car in a Kunia field and tried to escape on foot.
The suspect was caught several hours later on Kunia Road and police discovered that the car he was driving had been stolen.
Sanchez was also being sought on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.

So much for the theory of the homeless being mentally ill. He handled that car with such talent.
Can we please keep him incarcerated where he belongs this time before he injures or kills an innocent person?

Find out if he is from Hawaii, If not deploy him back to his homeland and let them worry about him. He is a threat to the people of Hawaii. He must be smart because if there were no keys, that means he had to hotwire. Smart homeless guy.
