Girl reported in serious condition after near drowning at Maili Beach Park

A 13-year-old girl was taken to the hospital today after she ran into the trouble in the water at Maili Beach Park.
Paramedics treated the girl and took her to the hospital in serious condition about 1:20 p.m., an Emergency Medical Services report said.
The girl was submerged in the water and nearly drowned, the report said.
