Woman in custody for assaulting police officer in cell

A 29-year-old woman was in custody Sunday accused of assaulting a police officer in the cell block.

Jona Bankhead, of no local address, was charged Saturday with first-degree assault on a law enforcement officer. Her bail was set at $15,000.

Police said Bankhead assaulted a 31-year-old female officer while being processed as a detainee about 1:30 p.m. Friday.

      sorry. But I thought that I saw the SA use that Stup.. word in one of their headline, so I thought that it was safe. So. Ms. Lee can use the Du.. word for not very bright person in today’s headline, but we subscribers cannot? I’m so confused …
