Wilson leads Team Irvin to Pro Bowl win
Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson threw for three touchdowns and Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston added two of his own to lead Team Irvin to a convincing 49-27 victory in today’s Pro Bowl at Aloha Stadium.
Wilson played the entire first quarter and part of the second en route to completing eight of 12 passes for 164 yards and no interceptions. He was named the game’s offensive most valuable player. (Seahawks teammate Michael Bennett was the defensive MVP.)
Winston had a solid game himself, completing six of 12 for 113 yards and no picks. Team Irvin threw for 406 yards and seven touchdowns, while Team Rice’s trio of Eli Manning, Derek Carr and Tyrod Taylor countered with 396 yards and three touchdowns in a game dominated by big plays. The difference was Team Rice threw six interceptions to only one for Team Irvin.
Down 14 at the half, Team Rice took the opening kickoff of the third quarter and drove for a touchdown, with Tampa Bay’s Doug Martin running it in from 3 yards out for the score. Josh Brown hit the PAT to make it 28-21 Team Irvin midway through the third quarter. But Team Rice would get no closer.
Team Irvin wasted little time getting the lead back to 14 points on a 50-yard touchdown pass from Minnesota’s Teddy Bridgewater to Tampa Bay’s Allen Robinson, Dan Bailey hitting the PAT to make it 35-21.
Team Irvin made it a three-touchdown game on a 51-yard scoring pass from Winston to Tennessee tight end Delanie Walker.

Last game in Hawaii. ALOHA Pro Bowl.
Who cares which team won or if the pro bowl is ever played here again?
Ssssssssssssnore
Someone please tell me why the security came and took the ball from a fan after the player threw the ball in the stands… Really sad that they took that ball back.
oh that’s terrible. the fan should find out. If the player wanted a fan to have the ball, the fan should have been able to keep the ball.
might be last pro bowl unless held in Hawaii?
Entertaining game. Interesting to see how stadium officials will deal with the leaking toilet that splashed water on a lot of folks.
Sell-out….what sell-out….who are feeding that propaganda figures…i went to the Pro Bowl thinking the stadium was going to be a sell-out and packed with people and I estimated that there must have been no more than 35,000 people in the stands….gimme a break and the news media, NFL, Hawaii Tourism phonies et. al are coming up with these inflated numbers to make the Pro Bowl look good….get rid of it already and stop wasting tax payer monies by the HTL subsidizing such phoniness…..
