Kaneohe man charged with assaulting police officer investigating Palolo party
A 46-year-old Kaneohe man was charged Sunday for allegedly assaulting a police officer who was investigating a complaint of illegal fireworks and a loud party New Year’s eve in Palolo.
Chad Dunhour was charged with first-degree assault of a police officer and a liquor violation. His bail was set at $20.000.
Police said Dunhour started challenging a 43-year-old officer when he arrived to investigate the complaint about 10:50 p.m., on Waiomao Road.
While holding an alcoholic beverage on the sidewalk, the suspect allegedly assaulted the officer as he was being arrested for a liquor violation, police said.

Hope the idiot can’t post bail and stays in the lockup. Now he has a nice background resume.

Liquid courage. Sounds like a winner….
If you assault a police officer it should be mandatory jail time.
