Great story but too bad it hasn’t been written yet. Who actually writes this stuff? Ten year old children? How about getting rid of the cub reporters and giving some adults a chance.
scary place at night. But cub reporters work cheaply and paying as little as possible is the SA business plan.

Here, here!
Your first sentence speaks volume, Mr Mililani!
what was she doing in downtown alone at 2:00am…
Yeah, let’s blame the victim.
just asking the question.
not blaming the victim
It’s just a hunch but I believe she was trying to get away from her attacker at 2am.
thank you Miss Obvious.
Why does that matter? Is sex assault wrong only during certain hours?
it’s amazing how people can misconstrue things, unbelievable. LOL!
Homeless, prostitution and/or drug related.
Inverse. But the visitor’s bureau marketing department proclaims that Hawaii is a safe and sound place to be.
Maybe she thought it was 2 in the afternoon?
Hey SA, before reporting anything about a crime, maybe get some real statistics about the crime not hearsay. Description of the attacker or the exact location of the crime so women can avoid the area and avoid getting attacked.
Not sure why SA doesn’t just print a synopsis of all the violent crimes/accidents from the HPD blotter instead of picking/choosing certain ones to make a headline about when there is no real story/details!
So what is a female doing out alone at 2 in the morning?
I used to walk around downtown Honolulu at 2 in the morning when I worked the night shift. Nobody bothered me.
