Fire engulfs home while residents are at church
Fire broke out at a Kihei home while the two women who lived there were at church Thursday night, the Maui Fire Department reported.
Arriving Wailea firefghters found the single story residence on Kahale Street about 75 percent involved in flames at about 8:08 p.m., according to a Fire Department news release.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced women.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No damage estimate was immediately available.
