Five Guys Burgers & Fries has found a spot for its first restaurant in Hawaii. It will be at the Town Center of Mililani, according to a report from commercial real estate firm Colliers International.
A franchisee for the chain, established in 1986, previously said six to eight Five Guys stores are envisioned for Hawaii.
Amannda Schneider holds the franchise for the chain in Hawaii.
Virginia-based Five Guys has made a name for itself in part by cutting fries by hand and offering free peanuts to customers, who leave shells on the dining area floor.
The company said it has about 1,000 stores nationwide and more than 1,500 in development.
