Police ask for help in catching cigarette and booze thief
Honolulu police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who took cigarettes and a bottle of liquor from a Nanakuli 7-Eleven store last month.
Police released security camera images and video of the suspect, who entered the store at about 9:50 p.m. on Nov. 24, threatened workers and took several cartons of cigarettes and a bottle of liquor, police said.
The two videos released show the suspect entering the store. One video shows him without a blue bandana used as a mask and the other video shows him with the bandana covering his face. The suspect initially has trouble opening the door to the store because he tries to push it in, instead of pulling the door open.
In both videos the suspect is dressed in a gray hoodie with grey sweat pants and white athletic shoes.
The case is classified as a robbery.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 529-3111 or CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cellular phone.

At least we know that black is beautiful.
Imagine stealing something that will shorten your life?
He could have afforded the questioned items by collecting empty soda cans, and recycle water bottles.
Takes too long, he needed a fix right away! He also wears gloves to avoid leaving his prints. He has habit, that is stealing?
Saw the second photo and noticed he is not wearing gloves.
Too funny – an APB for the cigarette thief. Kind of reminds me of Aunte, the Christmas wrieth thief from a few years back…
