Firefighters rescue 5 people trapped in overturned vehicle
Honolulu firefighters rescued five people trapped in an overturned vehicle in Kalihi Saturday night.
Firefighters responded to 1805 Akone Place and found a mid-sized vehicle overturned and pinned against a neighbor’s house with a man and four women pinned inside at about 9:30 p.m., a Fire Department spokesman said in an e-mail.
Firefighters stablized the vehicle and got the five people out.
An ambulance took two of the women to the hospital.
Their condition was not immediately available.
