HPD arrests man who robbed downtown bank
Officers arrested a man who police say robbed a downtown bank this afternoon.
The man was arrested about 3:15 p.m. for investigation of second-degree robbery.
It was the second bank robbery arrest this week. On Tuesday, Isaiah Parsons, 20, was arrested in connection with a July 28 bank robbery in Chinatown.
Police said Parsons handed the teller a demand note and the teller put an undisclosed amount of money into a reusable store bag that Parsons provided.
He was indicted with second-degree robbery by a grand jury and arrested at Circuit Court about 8:20 a.m. Tuesday. His bail was set at $11,000.
