they got away with one.
Especially after they gave away the third set.
Good luck in the next match. Already spent some valuable energy going 5 sets. Go Wahine!
Whew! A close win. A good win. We took it to five to barely squeak by. It was a matter of who would blink first, and looks like TCU did. Hawaii hitters were magnificent — the Fabulous Five! Higgins spreading the ball around, keeping TCU off balance. That last behind the back set was perfect. Btw, Taylor looked visibly injured. Slow getting up after diving for digs. Limping toward the end. Pray her leg is better for tomorrow’s game against Texas A&M. Go ‘Bows!
what happened to your super setter with cat quickness, vision and all that baloney you wistfully talked about. what a con. Higgins a near disaster.
Higgins: 65 assists, 4 block assists
TCU’s 2 setters: 55 assists, 0 block/assists
Bad passing leads to bad setting. Nikki underwhelming, hopefully gets back to normal tomorrow. Bad serving too. All around play needs to get better.
Always someone who has nothing good to say and to be critical of a student/athlete who does their best to represent the University and the State. What have you done lately jkjones???
i think. something that is foreign to someone who is mentally challenged like you. All you do is shoot down people with differing opinions. I understand. It is simple and suits your lazy IQ.
cardiac arrest moments – but at least they pulled out the W… they really need to reduce the serve receive errors and errors in general… would love to see Claire in for TMO… she hurts us more in the back than anything…
also the setting (higgins) were a lil suspect…
pls. put in Granato / Castillo in sooner –
go BOWS – pull out the BIG W tomorrow!!!! PLEASE!!!!! thank you!!! IMUA!!!!
I’m glad that you’re not the coach.
there you go again. poping off your mouth.get lost, you are critically handicapped.
These gals are the greatest!!!!!! Put them on the headlines!!! And let’s have a parade when they come back!!!!
After watching the replay and glad for the victory, it seems the NCAA blew it (again) with the choice of hosts, as the stands were nearly empty! When will the selection committee understand that 10,000 fans in the seat is what volleyball needs?!
NCAA doesnt care about filling the stands. Dont they get paid by the school that’s hosting? The selection comittee is all about taking care of the big conferences as well as pitting the west coast teams against each in diluting the competition so some big ten or east coast conference can win it all. The west coast reps have no pull when it comes properly placing the teams in respective regional brackets. Bottom line is we got to keep on winning.
Wahine play like they did today against A&M they will be packing their bags for sure. All those errors will not help. They were lucky today.
Pac 12 not doing so well. Stanford swept by LMU. Oregon,Arizona State, and Arizona all out.
Got one tough win under the belt. Now, finish up the rest. IMUA, Na Wahine…
Congratulations to our Wahine Warriors for winning their first game and on to the next. Healing energy to all our hurting Wahines.
the following was a copy and paste statement.
I always find going west to east travel is more exhausting, so I give the wahines some props. It would have been easy to give up. TCU and Texas A&M playing in their back yard, why rank Hawaii high during the season if you think of them so little come tournament time (I know economics of travel to Hawaii, but still).
