The National Weather Service canceled a flood advisory for Oahu.

At just after 5:30 p.m., radar showed a nearly stationary area of heavy showers from Kaneohe to Waiahole, with rain falling at more than 2 inches per hour.

Other areas covered by the warning include Maunawili, Waimanalo, Hauula, Waikane, Kahaluu and Laie, the weather service said.

The agency warned drivers against crossing fast-flowing streams or risings waters, adding the visibility will be poor in some areas and that wet roads make for poor braking.
