Holidays herald DUI checkpoints
Honolulu police officers will begin manning sobriety checkpoints beginning Sunday at unannounced times and locations.
This includes, but is not limited to, the Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve holidays through Dec. 31.
It is all part of the department’s ongoing efforts to reduce traffic injuries and deaths.
