UH Hilo softball signs seven
Seven players have signed national letters of intent to play softball next season, according to head coach Peejay Brun. Five of the commits are from local high schools.
Mylee Enos (Maryknoll), Kristen Ishii (Mililani), Brinell Kaleikini (Moanalua), Jordan Millwood (Kamehameha-Kapalama), and ALeigha "Red" Scovel (Kauai) are joined by Toshonnie Baker from Torrance, Calif. and Leah Gonzalez from Wilmington, Calif.
"All of them bring something very individualized to the table but they all have one thing in common, they compete to win," Brun said. "They will be a great addition to the Vulcan softball family and help carry on the top tradition of softball here in Hilo."
