1. Michelle Poppler was crowned Miss Vamp Hawaii 2015 at Hawaii Theatre on Sunday; she was also named Miss Congeniality. Chelsea Kay was named first runner-up and Amber Robertson won the award for Most Photogenic. The pageant also featured a special guest musical performance by Aurelio Voltaire. 2. Lux at the Trump took on a Halloween theme at the Trump International Waikiki on Oct. 16. A variety of costume contests were held; DJ Dana Kruse kept people dancing all night. 4. Local rockers 82Fifty celebrated the release of their latest album, "Broken Promises," with a show at Crossroads at Hawaiian Brian’s on Saturday. 5. Events International and the Make-A-Wish Foundation partnered to host the Make-A-Wish Masquerade at M Nightclub on Saturday.
