Police seek driver in Kalihi-Palama hit-and-run

The Honolulu Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a dark blue Ford F-150 pickup truck with black tinted windows who hit a pedestrian crossing Vineyard Boulevard Oct. 14 and fled the scene.

The accident occurred at 3:06 p.m. Oct. 14 when a 36-year-old male was crossing Vineyard Boulevard. A Ford F-150 made a left turn from Palama Street onto Vineyard Boulevard and struck the victim while he was in the crosswalk.

The driver fled without stopping or slowing down. The truck may have damage to the front passenger side.
