Hawaii Hilo shares women’s golf lead
Hawaii Hilo’s women’s golf team tied Cal State Monterey Bay for first with a team score of 632 at the Dennis Rose Invitational held at the Waikoloa Beach Course.
Hawaii Pacific finished fifth out of six teams with a total of 650.
Top finishers for the Vulcans include Kristen Sawada, who shot a 150 to finish second, while Andi Igawa came in sixth with a 154.
The Sharks’ individual performers were May Chimsuti, who tied for third, shooting a 152, and Corinne Chann, who tied for 10th with a 158.
