Big Isle dengue fever count increases by 9 cases to 65

Confirmed dengue fever cases now total 65 for the Hawaii island outbreak, state health officials said today.

The Department of Health updated the numbers today, which shows an additional nine cases from Monday, when there were 56 cases. 

The initial onset for the cases are between Sept. 11 and Nov. 10. 

Of the 65, 48 are adults and 17 are children. 

Ten of the 65 confirmed cases are visitors.
