The University of Hawaii has announced an eight-member advisory panel to assist in the search for the Rainbow Warriors’ next head football coach.
In an announcement Monday, UH said, “These individuals will work closely with (athletic director David) Matlin, who will ultimately be accountable to make a recommendation to (Manoa) Chancellor Robert Bley-Vroman.”
Named to the group are:
» Carl Clapp – associate athletics director, UHM athletics department
» Dan Harris-McCoy – assistant professor, classics, UHM languages & literature of Europe and Americas; chair of the Faculty Senate Committee on Athletics, Member of Athletics Advisory Board
» Lori Ideta –Vice Chancellor for Students, UHM
» Eric Okasaki – head athletic trainer, UHM athletics department
» Amanda Paterson – director of compliance, UHM athletics department
» Roxie Shabazz – assistant vice chancellor for enrollment management and director of admissions, UHM
» Mike Trapasso – head baseball coach, UHM athletics department
» Hugh Yoshida – Ahahui Koa Anuenue chair & former athletics director, UHM athletics department
