Moanalua captured the Oahu Interscholastic Association cheerleading championship on Saturday at the Kalani High gym.
Na Menehune scored 356.75 points to edge second-place Radford (351.25) and third-place Kaiser (350.50) for their first title since 2010-11. Moanalua also won championships in 2004-05, 2001-02 and shared the crown with Radford in 2002-03.
Moanalua, Radford and Kaiser are three of eight teams who move on to compete in the state tournament on Saturday at Blaisdell Arena. The other five are Mililani, Campbell, Pearl City, Leilehua and Kalaheo.
