Two work furlough inmates are wanted after failing to return to the Hale Nani Reintegration Center on Hawaii island on Monday. 

Devin Saragosa-Taoy and Jensen Yadao, both 24, both left the reintegration center for work Monday morning and were supposed to return later that day, but neither showed up, the state Department of Public Safety said. 

Saragosa-Taoy was supposed to return by 4:30 p.m. and Yadao by 9:30 p.m., a department spokeswoman said. State sheriffs and county police were notified when the men didn’t report back. 

Saragosa-Taoy is 5 feet 8 inches tall and 159 pounds. Yadao is 5 feet 4 inches tall and 120 pounds. Both men have brown hair and eyes. Both are community custody inmates, the lowest security classification, in the work furlough program with pass privileges. 

Yadao was serving time for assault and abuse of a family or household member. Officials did not say why Saragosa-Taoy was in custody.
