» Situation: San Jose State 28, Hawaii 0, 3:40 remaining, second quarter, Hawaii ball, third-and-4 at San Jose State 10.
» The Play: QB Ikaika Woolsey’s pass is intercepted in the end zone by CB Andre Chachere.
» Impact: A morale killer for Hawaii, as a 14-play drive that included two third-down and one fourth-down conversions ended with a turnover. It’s the second week in a row a Hawaii quarterback threw an interception in the end zone from the red zone.
» Woolsey: "I made a dumb play with the interception in the end zone. Worst comes to worst, we should’ve come away with three points. We were in the red zone a couple of times, and I couldn’t get it done."

» Impact: San Jose State ran the four-minute drill with near perfection, milking the clock and marching down the field in steady chunks. The fifth touchdown capped a dominant first half. For the game, Potter completed 23 of 32 passes for 312 yards and three touchdowns. Five Spartans scored touchdowns.
» Potter: "We have everybody across the board that can catch the ball and make plays after the catch and it’s nice to have a bunch of weapons."
4. All Paul
» Situation: San Jose State 35, Hawaii 0, 15:00 remaining, third quarter, Hawaii ball, first-and-10 at own 25.
» The Play: RB Paul Harris runs for 10 yards on the first play from scrimmage of the second half.
» Impact: Harris carried three more times consecutively, for gains of 36, 2 and 27 yards and a touchdown. The Hawaii offensive line opened some sizable holes throughout the game, and Harris rushed for 179 yards on 28 carries. He has 966 rushing yards for the season with one game left.
» Harris: "I really don’t try to feed into (the possibility of rushing for 1,000 yards), because next year I’ve gotta have a better season. And we’re still losing on top of that. So it’s like I’m not doing enough for the team to get the win."

» Impact: The ball bounced Hawaii’s way and it regained momentum after San Jose State’s final touchdown. Hawaii outscored San Jose State 23-7 in the second half but it was nowhere near enough to make up for the first half.
» Stubblefield: "Me and Isaiah both had routes that crossed over the middle of the field. The ball tipped up and it was right there, I caught it and ran as fast as I could. I opened out pretty much to full stride and I was, ‘All right, hopefully nobody comes from behind and catches me."
