Homeless man charged with assaulting woman in Chinatown
Prosecutors Monday charged a 54-year-old homeless man with sexually assaulting a 54-year-old woman in Chinatown.
Rene Gabriel was arrested Sunday on River Street near Nuuanu Stream shortly after the alleged assault occurred at 12:40 a.m. Sunday.
His bail was set at $50,000. He is charged with second-degree sexual assault.
