HPD seeks information on mystery shooting
Police are seeking help in an attempted-murder investigation involving the shooting of a man Wednesday night somewhere on Oahu.
Police said Kele Stout drove himself to the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center at about 7:20 p.m. Wednesday with numerous gunshot wounds. He became unconscious after arriving and has been unable to provide any information about his injuries.
Honolulu CrimeStoppers Coordinator Sgt. Kim Buffet said Stout had more than five gunshot wounds in an area that could not have been self-inflicted.
She withheld further details about the injuries because police hope witnesses can provide those details. She said Stout is a Hawaii resident, and his family does not know how he was injured.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME from a cellphone.
