Woman critically injured in pedestrian accident in Kaimuki
A 56-year-old Aiea woman is in the hospital with head and internal injuries after she was struck while crossing Waialae Avenue in Kaimuki Monday night.
Police said the pedestrian was in a marked crosswalk near Center Street when she was struck by a 62-year-old man driving a car just before 7 p.m.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The 62-year-old driver was not injured.
